Mark started Lamb’s Custom
Woodworking as a collaborative effort to combine his masterful woodworking
skills with his love for the outdoors.
Mark has loved woodworking and building things since his
teenage years. In the early days he would often build bookcases, bureaus and
kids toys for friends and family members. He flipped several houses in the New
Hampshire area before becoming a full-time Maine resident.
After retiring in 2020, Mark
built a house on 16 acres of land in Bridgton, Maine and started filling his
workshop with all the necessary tools and equipment needed to build a
professional custom woodworking business that would showcase the many different
kinds of wood and techniques that he is able to source in the area. From
simpler, cleaner-looking woods like Western Red Cedar and Curly Maple to exotic
woods like reclaimed Jatoba and Angelique, Mark is able to build one-of-a-kind unique
creations to fit his client’s needs.
Special orders are his specialty.
Whether
it be a live edge table or countertop, built-in bookcases, a table to fit a
certain area or his famous Adirondack Chairs, Mark’s willingness to listen to
his clients and build their vision is what makes Lamb’s Custom Woodworking
stand out among the best custom woodworkers in Maine and the surrounding areas.
